im a parakeet breeder.. its simple.. first you put all of the parakeet in a cage then after a week you will notice who are the pairs then u separate them in a breeding cage..and il promise you it will lay eggs!!!

budgies/parakeets are cheap, save up and organise a new one. pop it in your cage and none the wiser. :)

my parakeet had a friend but he got sick, and the medicine the vet gave couldn’t save him :( now he’s alone.

I don’t have a lot of free time, and my mom won’t let me buy him another friend, so i feel bad cause my mom just says “he has enough toys to keep him happy”

she doesn’t get it. poor thing. I can tell he’s lonely.

    Keep same sex birds together.

Although I should warn you- females don’t tend to get along.

  12. CreaganFhithich says:

As long as you don’t mind them breeding, they should be fine.

  13. CreaganFhithich says:

Birds are extreamly sensitive animals. Any kind of fumes can be detrimental to their health. Cigarrette smoke, cooking fumes, perfume, any kind of fume is dangerous to a parakeet.

  14. dudewithacomputer says:

what sex should i pair to stop them from breeding?

  15. Helphelp3 says:

of course if its bad for parakeets if its bad for humans then it well be as bad for parakeets

i here they bond with each other and not you if you have two though? same if you have a mirror in its cage it bonds with itself?

  19. Jeri38 says:

I have a male and female and they fight. I had to put them in different cages

  20. daniel14snake says:

is a male ok with a female?

  21. hotangelgirl2004 says:

We got 3 budgies from a friend who couldn’t take care of them anymore; a yellow female (Luna), a green female (Missy), and a blue male (Nimbus). Luna and Nimbus were a mating pair, and Nimbus and Missy didn’t get along very well. One day, Luna died :( and then I noticed a week or so later tha Missy and Nimbus were cleaning each other and “kissing”. Now they’re a mating pair and just became new parents :)
