about getting one with bright colors, is there a health differance between a parakeet with periwinkle plumage compared to one with light turquoise blue feathers? I’m just curious

Yeah I STILL have him! I found this video looking for how long they are supposed to live for. lol seeing as I am the only one I know personally with a 12 year old parakeet bought from a corner pet store . When I bought him he was only $5.00.

When I was twelve I bought a fluffy, cute, and not so active parakeet. He was sick when I got him, but I was lucky enough that he pulled through it. Ironically his 12th birthday is this December and hes a spunky little guy!
