I have two parakeets and the male when into a bag which he tryed to get out but we hade to help him.When he came out his hail was like messed up ( one tail feather this way and the other the other way) will he eventualy straten it?? Or could this be seriouse??

I have 5 birds. 3 boys 2 girls. Its not really a problem to my birds to have an extra boy than girl. 2 really like each other and are always next to each other. The other 3 are all friends chirping.When i first started training them, I put my finger in front of them and they got on. Then my other finger and they got on. Soon they got the hang of it. Now, one of my birds sits on his little toy swing that is close to the bars of the cage and lets me feed him from there. I love my birds.<33

fasting birds is unnecessary if they are willing to work with treats. a budgie with a healthy diet will still work for seeds and millet without starvation.

it sounds like this bird needs more time and compassion. putting a bird to sleep because he’s “mean” is cruel.
