That is not true! Wing clipping is a very good thing, and doesnt harm the birds, their wwings grow back, it just takes time
Wings should be clipped! a couple of weeks ago my male parakeet flew out of the cage and he was crashing into the walls and hitting his head and it broke my heart! so i took him to the vet and got his wings trimmed and their wings grow back it just takes time :]
I totally agree with you! Wings should be clipped! a couple of weeks ago my male parakeet flew out of the cage and he was crashing into the walls and hitting his head and it broke my heart! so i took him to the vet and got his wings trimmed and their wings grow back it just takes time
good video thanks, i find it helps to clip the wings just for the first few months as it makes it alot easyer to tame the bird, then by the time the new feathers grow bac the bird is tame
Frankly if you leave the toilet lid up then you are just disgusting. But an easier method is just you let your bird fly in one room. Birds will only ever hit things like walls on their first flight, it’s natural to let then crash a bit, it won’t hurt them, let them learn. People like you shouldn’t own birds.
@spickymaster Well said my dear chap. People who clip wings are just lazy.
@nicechick01 Don’t show them your scared of them or they will keep on biting.
@spickymaster because every one makes mistakes and forgets sometimes
@CALIbabyFOREVER: thats exactly correct!
really? we all make mistakes, i clip my birds wings so he can go outside, or what if i accidentaly leave the toilet lid up? i mean, everyone forgets, and birds do sometimes fly into walls and hurt themselves if they are atratled. really? i think wings should be clipped!
Ok. Thats fine. We all have our own opinions, don’t we?
awful. flighted birds are not thesse crazy idiots who crash into walls and windows and never want to interact with you.
WAKE UP!
if you can not be arsed to cover a mirror, teach it what a window is, put the lid down on the toilet and bird proof a room then you are lazy and do not deserve a bird.
oh come on, don’t be STUPID
who leaves sharp objects out? get a grip.
if you are not willing to cover a mirror or put the toilet lid down, then don’t own birds
it’s not natural and unnecessary
they will eventually, it can take time and depends on the clip
why would you leave a hot stove out? why it be IN the kitchen? or near a fire place
=D yuppz
clipping a birds wings keep them safe!!! If a bird that is raised in a house gets out will not survive in the wild. Also can get very injuried in a house if allowed to fly. ie crash in to windows!! fly on to hot stove or in to a fire place.
Exactly correct!

Yes, budgie’s wings grow back in about fout to five months. It is very helpful to have keet’s wings clipped as they cannot fly away. Good luck with your new pet!

Try using a towle or even an oven mit if your very nervous to hold him. Be patient!
