    I would recommend finding a Pomeranian rescue group, such as http://adopt-a-pomeranian.adoptapet.com. Often times when purebred dogs are put up for adoption, a rescue group for that breed will take them, rather than a shelter. This will make it far easier to find them a home, but there tends to be a screening process to make certain that it is a good home.

    newspapers, or craigslist.com. or you can call up local vets, shelter, and dog groomers to see if anyone’s trying to find a new home for one.

    check craigslist every day look in neighboring states and look in other other cities. I found my puppy by doing that.
