How do you know if your parakeets are getting along?
Well I got a parakeet then later I got another Parakeet. At first they were in separate cages then today I put them in one cage. I feel like the Green one that I have won’t get along with the blue one because were using the Green parakeets old cage and the Green Parakeet might be annoyed about the fact that she’ll have to share her cage. How do I know if they hate each other or if they’re great friends.
if you see them pecking at each other in a bad way then they are probably not getting alont too well but otherwise just give them some time. to be sure you might want to go to the petstore that sells parakeets and ask them but id let them be for a while.
just keep a watch .they will literally fight with each other, but either way at first they will be Leary of each other,as long as they don’t fight give them a couple of days and you may see them preening each other after a week,that’s a good thing.
