How many hamsters is too many when my cat is hungry?

When I go to work in the morning, I usually just put my cat in his travel case, drop in a hamster, close the door, and come back in the afternoon.

If the cat has eaten the hamster, I’ll let him out. If not, I leave him in there for a while longer.

Now that my cat is getting to be an adult, how many hamsters a week should I be feeding him?

I don’t know, but that’s a little too expensive, why not try feeding your cat dry food?

Feed him cat food. There is a wide selection at most pet stores. You are not funny.

If the hamster bites the cat or if the hamster is carrying a disease, you will be left with a sick cat and expensive vet bills. Hamsters can carry the disease, tularemia that you can get so leave the hamsters at the pet store. Feed the cat cat food. You shouldn’t leave the cat in his travel case all day either. Your cat won’t get to move around enough and will become prone to diabetes and possibly aggression from its forced sense of helplessness.

I would say one hamster a day, but in two separate meals. Give him half of the hamster in the morning, and the other half when you get back from work.

Cats don’t need to feed every day. They are like Lions! You could get by with one hamster every other day. When I’m feeling like our relationship is going well and Muffy is being respectful I spring for a guinea pig.as a treat. The last one cried and screamed as I threw her in the cage but I don’t think they will miss her. She worked in accounting.
