yeah it would be fine your welcome and i hope u have fun with your turtle ;p

  7. LordShadowDragon says:

okay =) would putting up a small (like a foot tall) fence around the pond keep him safe. Of course I would make sure he had rocks to sun bathe on in the middle of it =) I wouldn’t want him to explore my Backyard too much and end up far away from the water if he needed it. Thanks for the tips.

  8. darkwolvesmusic says:

he can live in the pond but the risks are about other animals attacking the pond should be big and must have lots of rocks to hide!!

Can a pet turtle live in a pond in my backyard instead of an aqurium? He’s starting to get too big for the Tanks I have and I think he might enjoy the space of a small pond. Any risks in it that I should be aware of?

you shouldnt have wild turtles az pets

  13. pops51201 says:

does it work with wild turtles

  14. brianvelasquez says:

Yes, you can give them crickets. Baby turtles are highly carnivorous and should glady take them

  15. brianvelasquez says:

You should feed as much food that will fill up her neck/head

My turtles are about 1-2 months old, is feeding them crickets okay?? Do i run a high risk of parasite if i feed them crickets?? The crickets i buy are from a petco/pet club

yeah, we’ve had him for about… well since November. He is starting to eat the pellets now. Im starting to feed him worms that I find outside (I was them first). We also have guppies… and when one dies, we feed it to him. Thanks.

how long do you have this turtle? some turtles need to get used to their new owners and food… etc.

it would probably change after 1 or 2 months…

I have a video of her on my account. Her temp is in the range for her type of species which is 65-90 degrees. I keep her water in the high 70′s to low 80′s.
