hehe…you don’t need to suck water (read the instructos how to use this tube…and you aren’t cleaning right whit it…), you should have told that you should pump more than 1/4 of water out of the tank and you should do this kind of cleaning every two weeks better ten days(especialy if you dont have plants who reduce NO2)…and there are a bunch of more wrong things in youre advises…

You don’t have to use aquarium salt for fish keeping. Also, if you have a planted aquarium never, ever, add any amount of salt, because this will dehydrate your plants and kill them all. Aquarium salt is best used for treating certain diseases or illnesses.

@bRandom79 I just had that discussion with a fellow fish keeper, He was telling me he put luke warm water in his tank and I believe luke warm is anywhere between 80-85 degrees I told him he might of been edging on comfortably hot which is 85-95 hot is anything above 95 burning point is 107 degrees,So luke warm can kill fish, I make my water not cold and not warm when its coming out of the facet, is about 72 degree water. Which is acceptable to most fish.

Add hot water? May want to tell people to check the water temp so you dont stress or kill everything. Also tell people that at no time should any soap of any kind be used on anything associated with an aquarium.

I love your video. How much salt do you use per gallon? I never use salt for my guppies and tetras? I have a planted tank and I worry about too much salt. Also when not using salt, the drained water can be used on your favorite outdoor plants as it it loaded with nitrogen and other such scientifical dealies.
Lovely to see you and please teach me more about the world of fishies as you know it.
