What web sites are valuable? There are so many I’m not sure which one to trust. Thanks!

Dont trust websites. Buy a book on Veterary Health
On here!
If you have a purebred, then AKC websites are reliable for potential health problems of the certain breed.
animal planet
i don’t know what sites-sorry
but you could buy a book about your type of pet
The Internet. What pet do you have?
animal.org
About.com is helpful… they have a section for each kind of pet.
Aboutdogs.com
aboutcats.com
aboutbirds.com
etc.
either on da internet or buy a book on it!
Websites aren’t always accurate. There are some that will give you the wrong information and cause you to hurt your pet. Buy a book. They’re very good sources for learning.
the humane society or care2.com envormental cite
Maybe you should go to a pet store and try buying some books (because I think that reading books are better than websites).
You should also try to ask the people that work at the pet store questions on the certain kind of animal you want to know about. (They are usually more than happy to help!)
I hope you find the information you need! ~Good Luck~
This is a good all around site.

Your library should have a Home Veterinary Handbook. It is excellent..check it out, or buy it on ebay.
you could try these websites – www. purina.com, http://www.hillspet.com, http://www.eukanuba.com – they gave lots of tips on pet health, training and everything you need to know about your pet.
read on some books too.
You can check aboutpets.com, their section on dogs health is always very informative but i would agree with answer number 1. You can find excellent books on dogs health.
The advantage of books is that they offer you a greater variety. You have books dedicated to conventional veterinary procedures/drugs, some on natural remedies, also altentaive therapies
But please don’t forget! If in doubt do visit your Vet!
This is a great website:

Invaluable learning at http://www.critteradvocacy.org Dr. Bob Rogers is a license vet in Texas. His site teaches all about vaccines.
