People posting q’s about thier pets health, when said pet should really be taken to the vet immediately?

Does this not bother others?
People post questions about their pets health, like: “Oh no! My dog broke it’s leg, should I take it to the vet?”
well, duh.
Sure, some questions deserved to be asked. But sometimes, they’re just not worth the time, when you could be getting your pet the help it needs.
I want to know other people’s opinion on this. If my pet was hurt, the first thing I would do would get it help, not rush to my computer to ask the help of strangers.
They are probably the kind of person that won’t take the pet anyway or don’t realize how serious the situation is. Some are just looking for a cheap answer or someone to help them not feel guilty.
Agree. Everyone should know basic pet first aid. Any medical condition needs to be checked out by a vet. Too many people are looking to short cut to save money and will end up with a much sicker animal and a bigger vet bill to boot.
Pet Peeve of mine: kids wanting to know how to get their parents to let them have a pet on impulse. LOL!
I agree completely. Another thing that bugs me is when people post a question and say “Please don’t tell me to take it to the vet..i can’t afford it”. Well then, you shouldn’t have gotten a pet in the first place if you can’t take care of it!! My daughter and I have 5 rescued pets and I have had to borrow money from family members or scrimp a little on other things to get them vet care in the past. That really bothers me, knowing an animal is in pain and no one will do anything!!!
I completely agree with you..Most people won’t even take their pets in and some just want a quick fix without spending money. Most owners don’t even realize how costly it is to have a pet.
But yeah if your animal has a broken leg, not breathing good, bleeding, things that are common sense TAKE EM TO THE VET!!! Don’t come here asking for advice if we could diagnose over the internet Dr’s wouldn’t be needed anymore!!
