@pronster1 im not a serious expert but i would say not to put the rat in the shower with u, even if you are careful not to squish it your shampoo and shower gel always runs in the bottom of the shower, right, so the soap could irritate its eyes and nose. you dont necessarily need to wash your rat with shampoo, just give em a rup down with warm water, only if they are ok with it though. ps they can wash there own private parts,lol !!!
It’s terrible to see how she forces the rat to go into the bath.
I have two rats and one hates water i would never ever force her to go into a bowl of water, but the other one just loves baths when ever she sees a bowl of water she jumps into it my mother once prepared a bucket of water to clean the floor and as soon as she saw it she jumped into it (for the next days she tasted like citrus flowers
My rats hate water Out of my 4 none of them have needed baths. My one that follows me during housework only has a dirty tail at the end of the day, going god know where when Shes not in my hoodie. They clean themselves, it’s not necessary. Even If they were to get bathed they’d get their old scent back by getting dirty again
she clearly knows fuck all about rats they rarely need baths and you should train them to go in water insted of forcing them
poor rat
yeah because it is so hilarious how he hates it and it isnt necessary mrs. animal care “specialist”
@TheGreasymonkey100 then it should be fine to allow them to play in it aslong as you arent using bathing products in the water too such as animal shampoo or soap
you should watch ‘oPuOo’s video on introducing rats to water to see if your rat/s may enjoy it. never put a rat in water though, it should always have the option of getting in and out when it wants
@wizzyjo ya but what if the rat enjoys swimming then what
can you let a rat swim in water
if u go to ur pet store they have a bottle that u can use all u need to do i rub into his fur pluse rats are the cleanes pet u can have
great video. is it ok to take them in the shower with you if i am carefull not to stand on it ? Also can u use baby shampo on your rat. Will i also need to wash his belly tail and private parts as well ? Keep the good work up sweetheart
@wizzyjo
Yeah i only bathe them when their dirty, and i use oatmeal based infant wash
@RattyInfo123 lol there are some rats which may enjoy the water however you should consider the effect that too much bathing will have on their skin such as washing the oil out and causing their skin to be very dry, making it very itchy.
My r
@wizzyjo
must be something wrong with him lol
My rats love being bathed…………..
Damn you….just damn you.
Why to the hell you bathing a pet? Specialy a rat!? Rats shoulnt ever need to be bathed.Thats realy not good for your poor pets, because they are afraid of it. YOu can see it in the videos. Poor rat
Stupid bitch dropped him!! Thats like dropping a new born baby. You dont even need to wash the ratties >:P. They do It them-selfs if you haven’t noticed! :/
can i recommend to you guys goosemoose? GOOGLE IT!
Yo- she fricking dropped the rat. Plus, you definitely never need to bathe your rats.
@Mentor221 your right, but some rats do like baths :p
rats do not need baths at all
@wizzyjo You are right. People like this woman often think rats should be bathed because their own rats can’t keep themselves clean. But, if you watch her other videos you’ll that she keeps her rats in tiny, innapropriate outfitted cages and doesn’t give them a proper substrate or litter train them. No wonder.
Rats don’t need a bath. If you bath them they’ll make themselves dirty right afterwards because they want their own smell back. IF you HAVE to bath them don’t use soap. The cage in the background is way too small for rats :/
i bet thats ur only friend
