I grew up with this family and would love to buy a copy of their dads music

Jud and my dad were great friends and I would really like to see Joel if he ever comes up here

Dude… the lyric refer to “sounds like Bing” (Bing Crosby) who was a child in 1920.
    Why would you think this?!

For the record, this song was published in Playboy magazine by an unknown author. Jud wrote the magazine, got the rights, and arranged the music.

The song was a “bullet”on the pop charts unil it was pulled from the airways by a conservative censorship group (vogue at the time).

This is not original to Jud Strunk. It was sung by Joe E. Lewis is the 1920′s.

He took to the stage at a Bluegrass festival in Maine when I was a kid (about six years before his death). He played a few songs including this one. This is the first time since then (34 years) that I’ve heard this song. He was very cool and stopped to talk with my father and me.
