Is deodorizing spray for hamsters actually work and is it safe?

My sons hamsters cage smells. I clean it out on every fifth day but it still smells. It is safe to use the deodorizing spray for hamsters and does it work? If you have used it or have any info on it please let me know what you think. Thank You!
