It’s often said that pets are part of the family and who would argue with the idea that they deserve to be treated well. Sometimes, however, your need to step back and wonder why it seems to be easier for people to reach consensus on the proper care of animals than for some children.

Other than for financial reasons, of course.

I have heard a lot of people say they stay in a sexless marriage because they don’t want to be alone. These people make good money and finances is not an issue. Why not get a pet for companionship?

On Yahoo Answers, the header usually goes, “Help, my pet is dying!” and they provide details that are extremely worrisome but the asker never follows up with what they did to save their pet. Why do people even bother posting these questions? The obvious answer is to take your pet to a vet.

People posting q’s about thier pets health, when said pet should really be taken to the vet immediately?

Does this not bother others?

People post questions about their pets health, like: “Oh no! My dog broke it’s leg, should I take it to the vet?”

well, duh.

Sure, some questions deserved to be asked. But sometimes, they’re just not worth the time, when you could be getting your pet the help it needs.

I want to know other people’s opinion on this. If my pet was hurt, the first thing I would do would get it help, not rush to my computer to ask the help of strangers.
