What alternative stuff is there for hamsters in Baja?
I live in Baja and plan to get a hamster in the next day or two. I’ve had hamsters, but that was before when I lived in WA. Basically I want to know what tropical fruits are ok, like papaya and guava, and also if plain straw is good for bedding. Any information in general is appreciated.

Our 18 month old cat has broken his femur and the only way to help him is by surgery but it will cost us ovef $2,500.00. The only other options are to let him live in pain or put him down. Are there any pet insurances that will help us with the surgery even thought the broken leg is a pre-existing condition?

I know most pet stores make you sign a form that states you will take care of the animal before you take it home. I was just wondering if there was anything more that could be done to prevent the wrong types of people adopting pets. What kind of suggestions do you have?

My husband and I recently took in a boxer mix. I think he may be about a year old. We dont know if he has had shots or anything. We are a low income family but, our girls really love this dog so giving him up is out of the question. We can barely afford our health costs let alone a dog. If you know of a good cheap but reliable health insurance policy or carrier let me know.
