-What kind of pet? If a dog, then you get the advantage of finding one that NEEDS a goopd home, or faces being put to death! You can also see the personality of the dog, and often can find a younger, yet grown, dog. Thsi would help you in that no potty training! They can usually also tell you if the dog likes other pets, kids, etc.

You adopt a pet from a shelter or rescue. Adopting saves a life. You buy a pet from a pet shop or breeder. Buying doesn’t save a life.

The difference is adopting a pet means you are rescuing it you are saving it. When you adopt it,it also means its a lower price than buying a pet. When you buy a pet you often pay a high amount for a pet and you usually get it from a breeder or someone who wants to give away their pet. Adopting also means that you got it from a shelter such as the pound or a humane society or an adoption agency.

when you adopt a pet you are saving an animal buying a pet from a pet store is a reallllyy bad idea those animals usually come from puppy mills…which are awful places that usually breed dogs constantly and keep them in horrible living conditions and the puppys are usually fithy and sick and then the store washes them and gets them all clean then sells them to you sick.

adopting a pet is kind of better than buysing one. if you adopt one you save adogs live. YOUR A HERO IF YOU DO THAT u can look online they say things like BUY THIS DOG ITS HER/HIS LAST DAY ON EARTH!!!!!! :’( PLZ my mom wont let me get a nother dog so plz adopt one i dont want another animal to die. and buysing a pet is like going to the mall or petsmart or petco or a breeder and piking up a pet that was always havin a happy liofe and is not at a pund going to die.

    Adoption- cheaper, saves animals lives

Buying- more expensive, supports the harm of animals by taking away an animals chance in a shelter and encourages sellers to produce more animals

The only difference is when you are adopting a pet you are getting them from a shelter or rescue, and when you are buying a pet you are getting them from a store or breeder. If you get your pet from an individual who is not a breeder that is called rehoming.

well adopting a pet means that you’re adopting them from a shelter/rescue. Buying a pet means that you’re buying the animal either from a breeder or a pet store.Buying an animal is more expensive and supports the harm of animals by taking away an animals chance in a shelter and encourages sellers to produce more animals.Adopting is less expensive because your saving an animals life.
