What exactly is a “rehoming fee” for adopting a pet from someone? And what’s a reasonable rehoming fee?
Someone asked for a $300 rehoming fee for their puppy…is that unreasonably high or fair?

for a very healthy puppy with all it’s shots it isn’t too bad, it’s a little high but not that bad. And if it is spayed then it is the perfect price
Unless the puppy is a purebred that is a high re-homing fee. Usually re-homing fees cover the expenses incurred by the owner to care for the puppy (shots, neuter/spay, food, etc.).
