Me and my girlfriend want to adopt a puppy but were wondering whats need to adopt one?

Do you mean from a shelter? If so, you have to be 18 or older. Most shelters have you fill out a registration form, and pay an adoption fee. ID is needed too.
Each different shelter may have its own variations in what is needed, but the above are the basics. You can call your local shelter and ask what is required for adopting a pet there.
