Why is adopting a pet and saving their lives important? Why is it an issue worth publicity?
I know it is very very important…and I just your opinion or thoughts about this.

Because evey life is precious. its not fair to have a perfect dog be killed because shelters are to crowded and for the cycle to repeat. thats why people should
1. spay and neuter
2.dont breed
3.if you have puppies dont give them to the pound OR a pet store where they are locked up in an aquarium
just think about it. its more important than most people would think.
I’m just tried of people think no more than themselves. We weren’t the first ones on Earth and were not the only ones on Earth.
Those homeless pets just want love and a home. They’ll love you even if they have been abused or a stray all their life. They deserve a good home just like any other pet. People want a purebred pet from a “good breeder” rather than some mutt from a shelter. Really people? Get over it. Those mutts are just as good as any purebred dog. Then once they get that purebred that they wanted, they don’t spay/neuter it. Then the animal gets pregnant and has more babies. Then most of those babies end up in a shelter. We are the cause of over population in pets so we should fix it by adopting and not breeding unless you know what you’re doing and spaying and neutering your pet. Euthanizing perfectly good pets isn’t what we should be doing, but we have to to make room for more homeless pets.
Why is it important for orphans to be adopted? ask yourself that! I love animals, but don’t think they’re as important as people. but, I do believe that animals have a right to live and have a right to be loved. shelters put animals down all the time after ONE MONTH> wow!
but seriously think about it: you are lost from your parents, crying confused, and you are kidnapped taken away from your family and never see them again. You spend a month of bad food, unhygienic sleeping areas and after a month your get injected and die.
Also, I have nothing against putting dogs and animals down, but not when they are ALIVE AND WELL!
consider that.
